About the Artist

Jessika Mingo has been a painter and sketcher for 14 years. She has recently started exploring pen and ink over watercolor. She is extremely interested in mixed media, and her signature work involves a light under pencil sketch, watercolor and pen on top. She has done 3 wall murals, and 4 custom wall paintings for various clients. She is always being commissioned for many custom paintings. She has been a part of 3 group shows and hosted her own solo show in 2010. She started her own clothing company Empathy Clothing when she was 14 years old. Ever since she has evolved her small business and has sales twice a year, a website and is hired by clients to host her clothing at their events. While she attend California state university Channel Islands she also did many commissioned pieces at various sizes and prices for a wide range of clients. Jessika would like to see herself working for an apparel company creating graphic t-shirts, fabric design and possibly websites.
